V\u00edta, nebylo tu po zlat\u011b ani pam\u00e1tky. S pomoc\u00ed \u201ekouzeln\u00e9ho&#8220; zrcadla, jeho\u017e tajemstv\u00ed nebylo dones odhaleno, pr\u00fd vyvolal na Rudolfovu prosbu ze z\u00e1hrob\u00ed stiny jeho nejjasn\u011bj\u0161\u00edch rodi\u010d\u016f, \u010d\u00edm\u017e uvedl c\u00edsa\u0159e do stavu mystick\u00e9 ext\u00e1ze.<\/p>\n<p>S Lowov\u00fdm jm\u00e9nem se spojuje i legenda o Golemovi, kter\u00fd zp\u016fsobil mnoho nesn\u00e1z\u00ed, kdy\u017e mu nedbal\u00fd tovary\u0161 zapomn\u011bl vyndat z \u00fast prou\u017eek pergamenu se z\u00e1zra\u010dn\u00fdmi p\u00edsmeny.<\/p>\n<p>V z\u00e1\u0159i t\u00e9to legendy pohasly jin\u00e9 z\u00e1sluhy tohoto u\u010dence, kter\u00fd stejn\u011b jako <strong><em>Paracelsus<\/em><\/strong> pr\u00fd objevil l\u00e9k k zastaven\u00ed zhoubn\u00e9ho \u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00ed moru.<\/p>\n<p>Mo\u017en\u00e1, \u017ee na \u010detn\u00fdch pov\u011bstech o Golemovi zrnko pravdy je.<\/p>\n<p>Low mohl podle p\u0159\u00edkladu slavn\u00fdch p\u0159edch\u016fdc\u016f vyrobit automat podobn\u00fd \u010dlov\u011bku. Pokud m\u016f\u017eeme v\u011b\u0159it sv\u011bdectv\u00ed sou\u010dasn\u00edk\u016f,<strong><em> Albert Velik\u00fd<\/em><\/strong> dos\u00e1hl na tomto poli skute\u010dn\u00e9 dokonalosti.<\/p>\n<p>Kdy\u017e jeho \u017e\u00e1k <em><strong>Tom\u00e1\u0161 Akvinsk\u00fd<\/strong><\/em> zastihl jednou v alchymistick\u00e9 laborato\u0159i mechanickou figuru zam\u011bstnanou tah\u00e1n\u00edm m\u011bch\u016f, m\u011bl ji za d\u00e9mona a, ozbrojen\u00fd ko\u0161t\u011btem, pustil se s n\u00ed neohro\u017een\u011b do boje.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201eCos to ud\u011blal, Tom\u00e1\u0161i?&#8220; <\/em>zvolal rozho\u0159\u010den\u011b<em> Albert,<\/em> kdy\u017e po n\u00e1vratu na\u0161el jenom st\u0159epy<em>. \u201eZtratil jsem na tom dvacet let \u017eivota!&#8220;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Tato historka m\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt docela dob\u0159e pravdiv\u00e1, proto\u017ee mistry alchymie neznepokojoval jen d\u00e1vn\u00fd sen o univerz\u00e1ln\u00edm katalyz\u00e1toru, ale i p\u0159\u00edzrak mechanick\u00e9ho dvojn\u00edka &#8211; univerz\u00e1ln\u00edho pomocn\u00edka, kter\u00fd se zd\u00e1l b\u00fdt dosa\u017eiteln\u011bj\u0161\u00edm. Takov\u00e1 bytost m\u011bla m\u00edt v\u0161echny p\u0159ednosti \u010dlov\u011bka a sou\u010dasn\u011b m\u011bla b\u00fdt zbavena nedostatk\u016f \u017eiv\u00e9ho t\u011bla. P\u0159ednosti by byly samoz\u0159ejm\u011b \u010dist\u011b lidsk\u00e9 a nedostatky m\u011bla odstranit l\u00e1tka vhodn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e protoplazma: p\u00e1len\u00e1 hl\u00edna \u010di k\u00e1men nebo nejl\u00e9pe &#8211; dob\u0159e obrobiteln\u00fd kov.<\/p>\n<p>Ozvuky b\u00e1j\u00ed o mechanick\u00fdch slu\u017eebn\u00edc\u00edch najdeme v sumersk\u00fdch eposech i v Edd\u011b, ve star\u00fdch upani\u0161ad\u00e1ch i v kabale. Prvn\u00ed automaty podobn\u00e9 \u010dlov\u011bku se objevily v chr\u00e1mech star\u00e9ho Babyl\u00f3nu a Egypta. Po vhozen\u00ed mince odm\u011b\u0159ily p\u0159esnou d\u00e1vku vonn\u00e9ho oleje \u010di \u00fapln\u011b bezplatn\u011b &#8211; v podob\u011b \u017eelezn\u00e9 panny &#8211; sev\u0159ely ve smrt\u00edc\u00edm objet\u00ed bezbo\u017en\u00edka. V kl\u00ednopisn\u00fdch pam\u00e1tk\u00e1ch se zachoval popis m\u011bd\u011bn\u00e9ho Molocha, hltaj\u00edc\u00edho kojence a d\u0161t\u00edc\u00edho plameny.<\/p>\n<p>V 17.-18. stolet\u00ed se tyto mechanismy roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159ily u\u017e jako hra\u010dky. Sle\u010dny v krinol\u00edn\u00e1ch hr\u00e1ly na pianol\u00e1ch a uctiv\u011b se ukl\u00e1n\u011bly \u010di polonah\u00e9 zakl\u00edna\u010dky had\u016f pohybovaly gumov\u00fdmi hrozn\u00fd\u0161i. Existoval dokonce \u0161achov\u00fd stroj, s kter\u00fdm se utkal s\u00e1m <strong><em>Napoleon.<\/em><\/strong> Pravda, v \u0161achov\u00e9m stolku sed\u011bl skr\u010den\u00fd \u010dlov\u011bk, ale t\u00edm \u010dlov\u011bkem se samoz\u0159ejm\u011b situace nem\u011bnila. Pov\u011bre\u010dn\u00e9 pov\u011bsti sotva rozli\u0161ovaly mezi loutkou s hodinov\u00fdm strojkem v hrudi a \u010f\u00e1belsk\u00fdm vt\u011blen\u00edm. Nevyhnuteln\u00e9 poruchy takov\u00fdch loutek daly mo\u017en\u00e1 vzniknout m\u00fdtu o vzbou\u0159en\u00fdch monstrech.<\/p>\n<p>Ale nechrne pov\u011bst\u00ed, kter\u00e9 inspirovaly nejednu generaci romantik\u016f, a vra\u0165me se ke skute\u010dnosti. Po <em><strong>Rudolfovi II.<\/strong><\/em> z\u016fstalo n\u011bkolik horoskop\u016f, v kter\u00fdch astrologov\u00e9, vd\u011b\u010dn\u00ed za \u0161t\u011bdrou ochranu, ne\u0161et\u0159ili p\u0159\u00edzniv\u00fdmi p\u0159edpov\u011b\u010fmi. Navzdory tomu v\u0161ak c\u00edsa\u0159 zem\u0159el po \u0161estat\u0159iceti letech od n\u00e1stupu sv\u00e9 vl\u00e1dy a jeho posledn\u00ed dny byly poznamen\u00e1ny vnit\u0159n\u00edmi rozbroji.<\/p>\n<p>V roce 1608 byl nucen postoupit bratru <em>Maty\u00e1\u0161ovi<\/em> kr\u00e1lovstv\u00ed uhersk\u00e9, rakousk\u00e9 velkov\u00e9vodstv\u00ed, markrabstv\u00ed moravsk\u00e9 a v roce 1611 i \u010cechy.<\/p>\n<p>Za nov\u00e9ho panovn\u00edka sl\u00e1va <em>Zlat\u00e9 uli\u010dky<\/em> pohasla, i kdy\u017e pov\u011bsti o tom, \u017ee n\u011bkter\u00e9mu mistrovi se poda\u0159ilo z\u00edskat \u201ek\u00e1men mudrc\u016f&#8220;, v Praze neutichaly a\u017e do konce 18. stolet\u00ed. Lapis philosophorum je magick\u00e9 srdce alchymie, spojuj\u00edc\u00ed praktick\u00e9 postupy mnoh\u00fdch ctihodn\u00fdch \u0159emesel. \u201e\u010cerven\u00fd lev&#8220;, magisterium, \u201evelik\u00fd elix\u00edr&#8220;, \u201epanacea \u017eivota&#8220;, \u201e\u010derven\u00e1 tinktura&#8220; a dal\u0161\u00ed tituly \u201ekamene mudrc\u016f&#8220; neznamenaj\u00ed nic jin\u00e9ho ne\u017e absolutn\u00ed katalyz\u00e1tor. P\u0159ipisovaly se mu z\u00e1zra\u010dn\u00e9 vlastnosti srovnateln\u00e9 bezm\u00e1la s projevy bo\u017esk\u00e9 moci.<\/p>\n<p>K\u00e1men mudrc\u016f m\u011bl nejenom zu\u0161lech\u0165ovat \u010di uzdravovat kovy &#8211; emanace planet\u00e1rn\u00edch princip\u016f &#8211; ale tak\u00e9 slou\u017eit jako univerz\u00e1ln\u00ed l\u00e9k. Jeho roztok z\u0159ed\u011bn\u00fd do koncentrace zvan\u00e9 aurum potabile &#8211; \u201ezlat\u00e9ho n\u00e1poje&#8220; zaji\u0161\u0165oval vyl\u00e9\u010den\u00ed v\u0161ech chorob, omlazen\u00ed a prodlou\u017een\u00ed lidsk\u00e9ho \u017eivota na jakkoli dlouhou dobu. Tak mohl ka\u017ed\u00fd dos\u00e1hnout dlouh\u00e9ho v\u011bku, o\u017eivit mrtv\u00e9ho a proniknout do skryt\u00fdch tajemstv\u00ed p\u0159\u00edrody. Sta\u010dilo zmocnit se \u201emagisteria&#8220;. Samotn\u00e9ho alchymistu, kter\u00e9mu bylo dop\u0159\u00e1no vykonat tento z\u00e1zrak, pak o\u010dek\u00e1valy kouzeln\u00e9 p\u0159em\u011bny u\u017e v procesu jeho &#8222;velik\u00e9ho kon\u00e1n\u00ed&#8220;. Kone\u010dn\u00e9 dozr\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed \u201efilozofick\u00e9ho vejce&#8220; m\u011blo b\u00fdt korunov\u00e1no bo\u017eskou prom\u011bnou t\u011bla a ducha adepta &#8211; \u0159emesln\u00edka. Pouhou cetkou&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Jin\u00fd alchymistick\u00fd poklad, \u201eb\u00edl\u00fd lev&#8220; \u010di \u201emal\u00e9 magisterium&#8220;, kter\u00e9 m\u011blo zu\u0161lech\u0165ovat kovy a\u017e na \u00farove\u0148 st\u0159\u00edbra, p\u0159ed moc\u00ed skute\u010dn\u00e9ho \u201ekamene mudrc\u016f&#8220; zjevn\u011b bledlo jako M\u011bs\u00edc p\u0159i sv\u011btle Slunce. Tot\u00e9\u017e m\u016f\u017eeme \u0159\u00edci i o alkahestu &#8211; univerz\u00e1ln\u00edm rozpou\u0161t\u011bdle. Velic\u00ed mist\u0159i, kte\u0159\u00ed se hled\u00e1n\u00edm tohoto z\u00e1zraku zab\u00fdvali, se v\u016fbec neznepokojovali ot\u00e1zkou, v \u010dem budou l\u00e1tku uchov\u00e1vat.<\/p>\n<p>Proto\u017ee z popudu c\u00edsa\u0159e Diokleci\u00e1na sho\u0159ely v\u0161echny egyptsk\u00e9 z\u00e1znamy o tajemstv\u00ed v\u00fdroby zlata, jsou po\u010d\u00e1tky alchymie zahaleny mlhou. Pozd\u011bj\u0161\u00ed k\u0159es\u0165ansk\u00e9 legendy spojuj\u00edc\u00ed alchymii s kr\u00e1lem \u0160alomounem \u010di dokonce s Moj\u017e\u00ed\u0161em tuto kou\u0159ovou clonu nijak nerozptyluj\u00ed. Nezn\u00e1me dokonce ani p\u016fvod samotn\u00e9ho slova \u201echemie&#8220; &#8211; arabsk\u00e9mu \u010dlenu \u201eal&#8220; se nep\u0159ikl\u00e1d\u00e1 v\u00fdznam &#8211; ani jeho p\u0159esn\u00fd p\u0159eklad.<\/p>\n<p>Jedni spojuj\u00ed n\u00e1zev t\u00e9to star\u00e9, ale v\u017edy modern\u00ed v\u011bdy s term\u00ednem chimeia &#8211; nal\u00e9v\u00e1n\u00ed, extrahov\u00e1n\u00ed, druz\u00ed se slovem khem (khame, chemi) ozna\u010duj\u00edc\u00edm \u201e\u010cernou zemi&#8220;, Egypt, kde se pr\u00fd zrodilo tajn\u00e9 um\u011bn\u00ed rudoznalstv\u00ed a metalurgie. Je tu i matn\u00fd lesk rudn\u00fdch \u017eil, i \u017e\u00e1r proudu tryskaj\u00edc\u00edho roztaven\u00e9ho kovu, i zrn\u00ed\u010dka na pohybuj\u00edc\u00ed se misce vah, i k\u0159ivule s houstnouc\u00ed \u0161\u0165\u00e1vou z bylin p\u0159in\u00e1\u0161ej\u00edc\u00edch sp\u00e1nek, i lesk amalg\u00e1mu, i ho\u0159kost jedu, i aroma esenc\u00ed&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>U\u017e jen tento v\u00fd\u010det je magick\u00fd a je l\u00e1kav\u00e9 ho prodlu\u017eovat a odhalovat tak v temnot\u00e1ch ciz\u00edch jazyk\u016f v\u0161echny nov\u00e9 metaforick\u00e9 odlesky. Av\u0161ak v nekone\u010dn\u00e9 alchymistick\u00e9 sf\u00e9\u0159e n\u00e1s nezaj\u00edm\u00e1 jej\u00ed chemick\u00e1 n\u00e1pl\u0148, ale magick\u00e1, planet\u00e1rn\u00ed pseudopodstata a teprve na tomto z\u00e1klad\u011b v\u00fdroba zlata a z\u00e1zrak \u201ekamene mudrc\u016f&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>To n\u00e1m \u00fakol pon\u011bkud uleh\u010duje. V esoterick\u00e9 rovin\u011b za\u010d\u00edn\u00e1 alchymie od v\u011bc\u00ed n\u00e1m u\u017e zn\u00e1m\u00fdch &#8211; Hermov\u00fdch trakt\u00e1t\u016f a alexandrijsk\u00e9 gnostick\u00e9 symboliky. Je \u010d\u00e1st\u00ed astrologie jako odr\u016fda \u201eastromineralogie&#8220;, \u201eastrobotaniky&#8220; a samostatn\u00fd odd\u00edl magie. Proto n\u00e1m bude mnoh\u00e9 z alchymistick\u00e9 praxe pov\u011bdom\u00e9. Mimo jin\u00e9 i zvyk adept\u016f skr\u00fdvat se za zvu\u010dn\u00fdmi pseudonymy.<\/p>\n<p>Jako prvn\u00edho mus\u00edme jmenovat <em><strong>D\u00e9mokrita,<\/strong><\/em> p\u0159esn\u011bji <em>Pseudod\u00e9mokrita,<\/em> jeho\u017e rukopis &#8222;Fyzika a mystika&#8220; dal po\u010d\u00e1tek dlouh\u00e9 \u0159ad\u011b \u0161ifrovan\u00fdch text\u016f, hem\u017e\u00edc\u00edch se metaforami na um\u011bn\u00ed magick\u00fdch transmutac\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Za n\u00edm n\u00e1sledovala stejn\u011b tajemn\u00e1 a nerozlu\u0161titeln\u00e1 d\u00edla <em>Pseudoplatonova<\/em> a <em>Pseudop\u00fdth\u00e1gorova,<\/em> kde v pestr\u00e9m v\u00edru drak\u016f a lv\u016f probleskuje teatralizovan\u00e9 k\u0159es\u0165ansko-pohansk\u00e9 myst\u00e9rium, kde se ob\u011btuje um\u00edraj\u00edc\u00ed a op\u011bt o\u017e\u00edvaj\u00edc\u00ed bo\u017estvo. Biblick\u00fd had pokou\u0161en\u00fd tajemstv\u00edm v\u011b\u010dn\u00e9ho kolob\u011bhu olizuje rozeklan\u00fdm jaz\u00fd\u010dkem ho\u0159k\u00fd plod pozn\u00e1n\u00ed a gnostick\u00fd je\u0161t\u011br po\u017e\u00edraj\u00edc\u00ed vlastn\u00ed ocas otev\u00edr\u00e1 cestu do p\u0159edv\u011bk\u00e9 propasti. Brzy se k n\u011bmu p\u0159idru\u017e\u00ed salamandr tan\u010d\u00edc\u00ed v ohni a antimonem podbarven\u00e9 oko otev\u0159en\u00e9 do sv\u011bta. \u010c\u00e1ste\u010dn\u00e1 modifikace egyptsk\u00e9ho hieroglyfu zobrazuj\u00edc\u00edho lidsk\u00e9 oko z\u00edsk\u00e1v\u00e1 novou existenci i mezi kabalistick\u00fdmi znaky.<\/p>\n<p>Na osobn\u00ed pe\u010deti n\u011bmeck\u00e9ho u\u010dence <strong><em>Georga Agricoly<\/em> <\/strong>je oko vyryto spolu s magick\u00fdm jm\u00e9nem Aranta. Jin\u00e9 zakl\u00ednadlo p\u0159ipom\u00ednaj\u00edc\u00ed d\u00e1vn\u00e9ho syrsk\u00e9ho boha Abraxase je vyryto na gnostick\u00e9 gem\u011b oslavuj\u00edc\u00ed p\u00e1na ve\u0161kerenstva. Nemaj\u00ed nic spole\u010dn\u00e9ho se z\u00e1zra\u010dn\u00fdmi vlastnostmi \u201emagisteria&#8220; a samy v\u016fbec postr\u00e1daj\u00ed jakoukoli z\u00e1zra\u010dnou aureolu. Vyjasn\u011bn\u00ed nejen zbavuje alchymistick\u00e9 texty jejich b\u00e1jn\u00e9 z\u00e1\u0159e, ale zcela ub\u00edj\u00ed samu alchymistickou ideu. A to v\u0161echno proto, \u017ee alchymie nen\u00ed jen \u201eprachemil&#8220;, ale nav\u00edc i \u010dernokn\u011b\u017enictv\u00edm, kter\u00e9 nelze abstraktn\u011b modelovat. Dvojzna\u010dn\u00fd v\u00fdklad je charakteristick\u00fd i pro za\u0161ifrovanost, je\u017e skr\u00fdv\u00e1 podrobnosti \u201evelik\u00e9ho d\u00edla&#8220;. Na jedn\u00e9 stran\u011b je to \u201etajemstv\u00ed chr\u00e1mov\u00fdch kn\u011b\u017e\u00ed&#8220;, kter\u00e9 nesn\u00e1\u0161\u00ed ciz\u00ed pohled, na druh\u00e9 stran\u011b oby\u010dejn\u00e9 cechovn\u00ed, \u201efiremn\u00ed&#8220; tajemstv\u00ed. Alchymist\u016fm nem\u00e1\u0161 co z\u00e1vid\u011bt &#8211; p\u0159esto\u017ee mezi nimi bylo nem\u00e1lo podvodn\u00edk\u016f &#8211; v\u017edy\u0165 je mocn\u00ed tohoto sv\u011bta \u0161tvali jako zv\u011b\u0159!<\/p>\n<p>Vzpome\u0148me na <em>B\u00f6ttgera,<\/em> kter\u00e9ho v\u011bznil sask\u00fd kr\u00e1l. Bolest neti\u0161ily ani zlat\u00e9 pilulky Slunce, svou podstatou i sv\u00fdmi \u00fa\u010dinky na organismus protikladn\u00e9ho.<\/p>\n<p>Z filozofick\u00e9ho hlediska tedy iatrochemik <em>Paracelsus<\/em> z\u016fstal v zajet\u00ed astrologick\u00fdch p\u0159edstav Ptolemaiov\u00fdch, je\u017e zn\u00e1me z \u010detn\u00fdch cit\u00e1t\u016f v alchymistick\u00fdch d\u00edlech Arab\u016f.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eSlunce svou podstatou p\u016fsob\u00ed teplo a v men\u0161\u00ed m\u00ed\u0159e tak\u00e9 sucho&#8230; M\u011bs\u00edc p\u016fsob\u00ed vlhkost, nebo\u0165 je nejbl\u00ed\u017ee Zemi, z n\u00ed\u017e stoupaj\u00ed vlhk\u00e9 p\u00e1ry. P\u016fsoben\u00edm ohn\u011b se nap\u0159\u00edklad objevuje zuhelnat\u011bl\u00e1 kostra v\u011bci (popel) a pt\u00e1k (plyn). Nen\u00ed to nic jin\u00e9ho ne\u017e prastar\u00e1 chemick\u00e1 symbolika: dohodnut\u00fd jazyk pro z\u00e1pis pr\u016fb\u011bhu t\u011bch \u010di on\u011bch reakc\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Paracelsus<\/em><\/strong> n\u00e1le\u017eel celou svou bytost\u00ed k on\u011bm \u201ept\u00e1\u010dat\u016fm z hn\u00edzda Albertova&#8220;. Av\u0161ak takov\u00fd byl rozpor epochy: jeho du\u0161e se drala z t\u011bsn\u00fdch pout slep\u00e9 magick\u00e9 v\u00edry &#8211; je\u0161t\u011b sice v\u011b\u0159\u00ed v ne\u010distou s\u00edlu, v \u201emagisterium&#8220; a v \u201e\u017eivou vodu&#8220;, ale v\u00fdrobu zlata u\u017e pokl\u00e1d\u00e1 za nesmysl \u2014 zat\u00edmco slunce mystifik\u00e1torsk\u00fdch alchymist\u016f a kejkl\u00ed\u0159\u016f se je\u0161t\u011b vzn\u00e1\u0161elo nad obzorem a oslepovalo sv\u011bt fale\u0161n\u00fdm pozl\u00e1tkem.<\/p>\n<p>V muze\u00edch Amsterodamu a Osla vystavuj\u00ed medaile ra\u017een\u00e9 \u00fadajn\u011b z alchymistick\u00e9ho zlata, kter\u00e9 je kvalitn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e u zla\u0165\u00e1k\u016f, a tak\u00e9 louisdory, pistole a guineje vyroben\u00e9 pomoc\u00ed ,,kamene mudrc\u016f&#8220;. Skute\u010dn\u00e1 technologie t\u011bchto \u201ez\u00e1zrak\u016f&#8220; byla k radosti osv\u00edcen\u00fdch lid\u00ed odhalena zn\u00e1m\u00fdm francouzsk\u00fdm chemikem <strong><em>E. F. Joffreim<\/em><\/strong>, kter\u00fd v roce 1772 p\u0159ednesl ve Francouzsk\u00e9 akademii v\u00e9d usv\u011bd\u010duj\u00edc\u00ed p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ku. N\u011bkolik zaj\u00edmav\u00fdch \u00faryvk\u016f z tohoto dokumemtu:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201eJe samoz\u0159ejm\u011b \u017e\u00e1douc\u00ed, aby um\u011bn\u00ed podvodu z\u016fstalo p\u0159edstavitel\u016fm kter\u00e9hokoli oboru ciz\u00edm. K tomu pou\u017e\u00edvaj\u00ed tygl\u00edky a misky, na jejich\u017e dno daj\u00ed trochu zlat\u00e9ho \u010di st\u0159\u00edbrn\u00e9ho v\u00e1pna (star\u00fd n\u00e1zev pro oxid) a shora ho pokryj\u00ed sm\u011bs\u00ed roztlu\u010den\u00fdch uhl\u00edk\u016f s klihem \u010di voskem. Tato hmota vychladne a vypad\u00e1 po ur\u010ditou dobu jako skute\u010dn\u00e9 dno tygl\u00edku \u010di misky. Jindy ud\u011blaj\u00ed do uhlu d\u016flek, kter\u00fd napln\u00ed zlat\u00fdm \u010di st\u0159\u00edbrn\u00fdm pr\u00e1\u0161kem a nakonec zalij\u00ed voskem. Pou\u017e\u00edvaj\u00ed i d\u0159ev\u011bnou ty\u010dinku na jednom konci dutou; do dutiny nasypou drobounk\u00e9 zlat\u00e9 \u010di st\u0159\u00edbrn\u00e9 piliny a otvor zakryj\u00ed z\u00e1tkou z t\u00e9ho\u017e d\u0159eva&#8230; Kdy\u017e j\u00ed potom za\u010dnou m\u00edchat roztavenou hmotu, za\u010dne ho\u0159et, piliny se vysypou a drah\u00fd kov se ocitne v tygl\u00edku&#8230; Nen\u00ed rovn\u011b\u017e t\u011b\u017ek\u00e9 p\u0159im\u00edsit drah\u00fd kov k olov\u011bn\u00e9mu, antimonov\u00e9mu \u010di rtu\u0165ov\u00e9mu v\u00e1pnu. Do olova lze docela snadno ukr\u00fdt zlat\u00e1 \u010di st\u0159\u00edbrn\u00e1 zrna, \u010di dokonce mal\u00e9 kousky slitk\u016f. N\u011bkdy pro tento \u00fa\u010del zlato p\u0159edem zakal\u00ed rtut\u00ed a vyd\u00e1vaj\u00ed ho za olovo \u010di st\u0159\u00edbro. A pak z\u00edskaj\u00ed zlato jakoby jejich prom\u011bnou. Je t\u0159eba vyst\u0159\u00edhat se v\u0161eho, co proch\u00e1z\u00ed rukama t\u011bchto dareb\u00e1k\u016f &#8211; ,filozof\u016f&#8216;. Zlato \u010dasto obsahuj\u00ed u\u017e lu\u010davka kr\u00e1lovsk\u00e1 \u010di kyselina dusi\u010dn\u00e1, kter\u00e9 pou\u017e\u00edvaj\u00ed. Pap\u00edr, do kter\u00e9ho sv\u00e9 miner\u00e1ly bal\u00ed, prosycuj\u00ed kdy\u017e je t\u0159eba v\u00e1pnem zlata \u010di st\u0159\u00edbra. Dokonce i karty, kter\u00e9 u\u017e\u00edvaj\u00ed, mohou obsahovat kovov\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edm\u011bsi. Vid\u011bl jsem sklo, do kter\u00e9ho bylo zataveno ur\u010dit\u00e9 mno\u017estv\u00ed zlata, zat\u00edmco roztaven\u00e1 sklen\u011bn\u00e1 hmota byla je\u0161t\u011b v peci.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>N\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed ,filozofov\u00e9&#8216; uskute\u010d\u0148uj\u00ed sv\u00e9 podvody pomoc\u00ed h\u0159eb\u00edku zpola \u017eelezn\u00fdch a zpola zlat\u00fdch \u010di st\u0159\u00edbrn\u00fdch. Lidem namlouvaj\u00ed, \u017ee prob\u00edh\u00e1 \u201ep\u0159em\u011bna&#8220;, zp\u016fsoben\u00e1 tinkturou, do n\u00ed\u017e h\u0159eb\u00edk vlo\u017eili. Vypad\u00e1 to dost v\u011brohodn\u011b&#8230; Av\u0161ak ve skute\u010dnosti to nen\u00ed nic jin\u00e9ho ne\u017e kejkl\u00ed\u0159sk\u00fd kousek. V\u0161echny h\u0159eb\u00edky, kter\u00e9 se tak podobaj\u00ed \u017eelezn\u00fdm, se ve skute\u010dnosti skl\u00e1daj\u00ed ze dvou \u010d\u00e1st\u00ed, pravda, velice pe\u010dliv\u011b sp\u00e1jen\u00fdch a pokryt\u00fdch barvou \u017eeleza. Pouze tato barva miz\u00ed v &#8222;tajemn\u00e9&#8220; tinktu\u0159e&#8230; Pr\u00e1v\u011b takov\u00fd, polo\u017eelezn\u00fd a polozlat\u00fd byl h\u0159eb\u00edk, kter\u00fd jsme kdysi vid\u011bli v pracovn\u011b v\u00e9vody tosk\u00e1nsk\u00e9ho. Podobn\u00e9 h\u0159eb\u00edky, z poloviny \u017eelezn\u00e9 a z poloviny st\u0159\u00edbrn\u00e9, p\u0159edkl\u00e1d\u00e1m nyn\u00ed Akademii. A pr\u00e1v\u011b takov\u00fd n\u016f\u017e se zlat\u00fdm hrotem byl kdysi darov\u00e1n podnikav\u00fdm mnichem anglick\u00e9 kr\u00e1lovn\u011b Al\u017eb\u011bt\u011b&#8230;&#8220;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Vypr\u00e1v\u011bn\u00ed o podobn\u00fdch vychytralostech, kter\u00e9 d\u011blaj\u00ed \u010dest chemick\u00fdm znalostem jejich inici\u00e1tor\u016f, nen\u00ed na\u0161\u00edm \u00fakolem. P\u0159esto v\u0161ak pro srovn\u00e1n\u00ed uvedu je\u0161t\u011b jeden charakteristick\u00fd cit\u00e1t, tentokr\u00e1t z knihy na\u0161eho sou\u010dasn\u00edka:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>\u201eM\u00e1me k dispozici \u010detn\u00e1 sv\u011bdectv\u00ed o tom, \u017ee alchymist\u00e9 byli a mo\u017en\u00e1 i dnes jsou schopni vyr\u00e1b\u011bt zlato, a dokonce existuj\u00ed i mince ra\u017een\u00e9 z alchymistick\u00e9ho zlata&#8230; Snad by se m\u011bla v\u011bnovat v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed pozornost \u00favah\u00e1m alchymist\u016f o takzvan\u00fdch druhotn\u00fdch kovech. Tak nap\u0159\u00edklad n\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed se pokou\u0161eli prom\u011bnit ve zlato ne oby\u010dejn\u00e9, ale ,zelen\u011b sv\u011bt\u00e9lkuj\u00edc\u00ed olovo&#8216;. Za p\u0159edpokladu, \u017ee ,zelen\u011b sv\u011bt\u00e9lkuj\u00edc\u00ed olovo&#8216; je thallium, kter\u00e9 se olovu podob\u00e1 a v plameni sv\u00edt\u00ed zelen\u00fdm sv\u011btlem, m\u00e1me mo\u017en\u00e1 objasn\u011bn\u00ed tohoto tajemstv\u00ed. Sta\u010d\u00ed toti\u017e, aby thallium ztratilo alfa-\u010d\u00e1stici a p\u0159em\u011bn\u00ed se ve zlato&#8230; Zn\u00e1m velk\u00e9 spole\u010dnosti, kter\u00e9 se ne\u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u011b pokusily analyzovat ukraden\u00e9 vzorky vyd\u00e1van\u00e9 za \u201ek\u00e1men mudrc\u016f&#8220;, tedy za jadern\u00fd katalyz\u00e1tor, kter\u00fd umo\u017enil pr\u016fb\u011bh p\u0159em\u011bn (transmutac\u00ed). Vid\u011bl jsem dva takov\u00e9 vzorky, kter\u00e9 vypadaly jako kousky \u010derven\u00e9ho skla. Metody chemick\u00fdch a fyzik\u00e1ln\u00edch anal\u00fdz p\u0159inesly tak protich\u016fdn\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky, \u017ee na jejich pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n\u00ed spole\u010dnosti netrvaly&#8220;<\/em> (J. Bergier: Pr\u016fmyslov\u00e1 \u0161pion\u00e1\u017e).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jak vyh\u00fdbav\u011b, ba stydliv\u011b se za\u010dal vyjad\u0159ovat spoluautor <em>&#8222;Jitra kouzeln\u00edk\u016f&#8220;<strong> Jacques Bergier<\/strong>.<\/em> Dovolte, abych se zeptal, pro\u010d \u201enetrvali&#8220; myti\u010dt\u00ed objevitel\u00e9 mytick\u00e9ho \u201ejadern\u00e9ho katalyz\u00e1toru&#8220; na sv\u00fdch metod\u00e1ch? Nebylo by l\u00e9pe rovnou \u0159\u00edci, \u017ee cel\u00e1 sou\u010dasn\u00e1 v\u011bda za\u017eila fiasko, kdy\u017e narazila na \u010d\u00e1ry? Co\u017e n\u011bco podobn\u00e9ho nepopsal <em>Balzac<\/em> v &#8222;\u0160agr\u00e9nov\u00e9 k\u016f\u017ei&#8220;?<\/p>\n<p>Neuvedl jsem tento \u00faryvek proto, abych odhalil o\u010dividn\u00fd v\u00fdmysl, s ohledem na \u010dten\u00e1\u0159e zcela nedot\u010den\u00e9ho ot\u00e1zkami v\u011bdy lehce nat\u0159en\u00fd na sou\u010dasno. V alchymistick\u00fdch knih\u00e1ch jsem se nesetkal s \u017e\u00e1dnou zm\u00ednkou o \u201ezelen\u00e9 z\u00e1\u0159i&#8220; olova, i kdy\u017e mo\u017en\u00e1 takov\u00e9 olovo je. Av\u0161ak je jasn\u00e9, \u017ee ani o thalliu, ani o alfa-\u010d\u00e1stic\u00edch nemohli st\u0159edov\u011bc\u00ed alchymist\u00e9 v\u011bd\u011bt zhola nic.<\/p>\n<p>Kdy\u017e jen \u010dist\u011b textologicky srovn\u00e1me Joffreiho p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ku s v\u00fdpadem (jinak to nelze nazvat) J. Bergiera, dojdeme bezd\u011b\u010dn\u011b k smutn\u00fdm \u00favah\u00e1m o tom, kam a\u017e m\u016f\u017ee lidsk\u00fd rozum dov\u00e9st takov\u00e9 nestydat\u00e9 obskurantstv\u00ed. Odstup 250 let je dostate\u010dn\u011b dlouh\u00fd na to, aby odpadla pot\u0159eba siln\u011bj\u0161\u00edch epitet.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Sebastian Brant<\/em><\/strong> (asi 1458\u20141521) si zato ve v\u00fdrazech na adresu sv\u00fdch sou\u010dasn\u00edk\u016f p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 nevyb\u00edral:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8222;Alchymie p\u0159\u00edkladem je toho, jak hlup\u00e1ka ud\u011bl\u00e1\u0161 z kdekoho. Tahle v\u011bda slou\u017e\u00ed na to, jak v tygl\u00edku d\u011blat zlato, jen m\u00edt n\u011bco drzosti a hodn\u011b trp\u011blivosti. T\u011bchhle lh\u00e1\u0159\u016f neum\u011bl\u00e9 triky, jejich \u010darov\u00e1n\u00ed nad tygliky chud\u00e1ky z bohat\u00fdch nad\u011bl\u00e1 \u2014 kam se jen poctivost pod\u011bla!
